CILIP YH is proud to be one of the sponsors of the first LISDIS Conference, which takes place this Saturday 14 November at the University of Huddersfield’s Heritage Quay. LISDIS is an opportunity for recent Library and Information Studies graduates to share their dissertation research and gain experience of presenting at a conference. Nine speakers will be presenting research on topics including graphic novels in public libraries, the impact of tuition fees in higher education, and female book collectors in the 18th and 19th centuries. Emma Coonan will be delivering the keynote presentation, about publishing LIS research in journals.
There are a few free tickets still available at the time of writing; you can sign up to attend at the Eventbrite page here.
