CILIP Yorkshire and Humberside’s next visit will be to Search Engine, the library and archive centre at the National Railway Museum in York.

Date:  Mon 28th November 2016

Time:  2pm – 4pm

Cost:  Free to all

The visit will include a talk about the work of the library and archives: how they support researchers, museum visitors, the museum itself and other railway organisations. After that there will be a tour of the stores and an opportunity to oggle some of the cool stuff from the collections.

If you have time before or after the visit, you may like to have a look round the engine halls, or pop in to one of the on-site cafés.

How to get there

Search Engine is in the main building of the National Railway Museum, which is a two-minute, well-signposted walk from York train station. How to get there.
