We’re enjoying the sunshine here in Yorkshire and Humberside and hope you are too. If you’re looking for something library-related to do over the next few weeks, then we’ve got a few events coming up that may be of interest:
Certification/Chartership Networking event, 8 July: Join us at the Adelphi in Leeds and meet other chartership/certification candidates, plus our Mentor Support and Candidate Support Officers, Maureen and Mark. Attendance is free; click the link for booking details.
CILIP Y&H and UKEiG Networking event, 16 July: We’ll be in Sheffield for the afternoon to hear Penny Andrews, Karen Dolman and Laura Woods speak about social media, accompanied by afternoon tea and networking. There’s a small charge for attendance; click the link for booking details.
Revalidate your Professional Registration, 21 July: Come to Leeds Trinity University to complete your revalidation using the CILIP VLE. Help is at hand from Mark Naylor, our Candidate Support Officer, and Matthew Wheeler from CILIP HQ. Attendance is free, but you need to book in advance. Click the link for full details.
Keep an eye out for news of our AGM, coming soon.
Our programme of visits to libraries of interest in the Yorkshire and Humberside region will be starting up again after the summer holidays, and all visits will be advertised on this blog, our website and our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter).
We publish a weekly round-up of news and events from across the region using Storify. You can see the full collection here.
